Scrapbook Pages

I went with Mike and Kristen on July 4th to take photos of them surfing. It was pretty overcast but I think I got some decent shots.

I took photos of Rob in his studio for a photo assignment. I was really happy with the shots I got and this was one of my favorites. I made this digital page and he has a copy framed in his home.

More digital scrapbook pages and this one shows the little pillow I made for their wedding. I took a close up photo of it and that is what I have used for the border on my blog.
Since Rob is a drummer, I surprised him with design of the cake made to look like drums. On top I had their names and it said, "making beautiful music together". It was delicious!

My sister, me, my daughter and my mom.

  1. gosh Karen, these are *all* beautiful! You have a great eye for design. Wow. I think the one that most wows me is the 4th of July surfing layout. That is truly publish worthy! Great work!

  3. I can't take full credit for the "design". Most designs were from the Jessica Sprague digital class - I just took it from there and put my own spin on it.
I did start a few from "scratch".

My husband gave me a new camera accessory for my birthday, called a doubler. I can take my 300 lens and make it look like 600! I'm looking forward to going back out to watch then surf and see how it turns out.

  4. I like your layouts. Your style is a lot like mine except it's not digital. Beautiful pages.
